                                        What I Do:

This is where it all begins, like an architect drawing out his blueprints I draw out your pedigree for success, not just for in the near future but for many years down the road.  I began this service in the early 1990's to help you the breeder establish a top notch breeding program.  Too many people were breeding for quanity, that had to be changed so I began NorthEast Greyhound Consultants, long before the National Greyhound Association began there publication of "Winning Lines".  Many people from the small greyhound owner to the largest greyhound farms have used my services and keep coming back. I've volunteered my services in the past to both the Texas Greyhound Assoc. and the Iowa Greyhound Assoc. and will continue to do so in the future. I have an extensive database dating back to the mid 1980's to the present time of top winning greyhounds along with pedigrees.  Many people don't have the time or resources too dig deep into the pedigree of a winning greyhound, this is where I come in and offer more than the NGA's "Winning Lines".  My service is not like any other that may be out there, they use computerized matchups, I do not. For your brood matron I go back in history and pair her up to what is breeding quality pups now, along with that I take your matron's racing history and/or her litter mates, was she sprint or distance, have early or late speed, etc., match her up with 5 sire's that will best compliment her and add traits that she lacked but yet be passed on to her siblings.  What is the cost: For EACH female that you would like a breeding consultation is only $40.00 for US mail and $35.00 through E-Mail.  Turnaround time for US Mail is 9-12 days, for E-Mail 3-5 days.  You'll receive a 4 generation pedigree with your female matched to each of the 5 sire's that were chosen, 5 full pedigrees in all.  Remember this, too many breeders use the top sire's for there female without taking into consideration the background history of that female, a surefire way to disaster.  There have been many duds when breeding a champion to another champion strictly because no homework is done, it might make a great pedigree sheet but only marginal pups later on.  If you want quanity then no need to contact me, you want quality then contact N.E.G.C. Finding the best possible pairing that will compliment your dam and produce quality pups is a never-ending task.  Everyone wants that champion racer but simply going to the top sire's does not mean you will have good results - you must have bloodlines that work!

How I Can Help Your Program :  Records are kept of every greyhound that wins top grade at major tracks, littermates are also watched.  Pedigree's are then researched and kept on record of each racer.  Matching up your dam to a sire that will best compliment her is not easy, I look at the bloodlines that are best producing not just from last generation but as far back as five generations ago which is extremely important for future generations.  Speed plays a big part in each pairing, to much early speed may produce runners who fade at the end, to much late speed may produce runners that are just quite late in getting through the pack.  My job is to find both early & late speed throughout pedigree's of both sire and your dam that will best fit.  Sounds easy but really isn't, I do research personally on each and every line that has certain traits and where those traits are best utilized for the future of your racers.  Having a dam that never made the track doesn't mean she can't be a good producer back on the farm, likewise having a dam that ran and won top races does not mean she'll be a good producer, you must know what your breeding to now and what was bred generations ago to get good results.  In the past and now many litters/pups have turned out to be "bombs" even by going to the top studs who "seem" to be producing top runners, and they are but only with that perfect match-up, there are also other sires that are not favored but can & will produce top grade results if bred properly.  If your program needs a lift let me help you by staying away from "bad breedings".
